About This Trek
Nangma Valley branches off near Kanday village, a short drive from Skardu, and leads into a world of unnamed granite spires that rival Karakoram giants for drama while seeing a fraction of the visitors. The trail follows a glacial stream through pasture and moraine.
This is a trek for travellers who have done the popular routes and want something quieter. There are no crowds, no permits and no queues — just raw Karakoram granite and a genuinely peaceful multi-day walk.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
We travel to Skardu (by air or road) and continue by jeep to Kanday village, the starting point for the Nangma Valley trek.

We begin trekking up the Nangma stream through pasture and moraine, with the granite towers coming into view as the valley narrows.

A further push takes us into the glacial amphitheatre at the head of the valley, ringed by unclimbed towers on three sides — the highlight of the trek.

We retrace our steps back to Kanday and transfer to Skardu, where the tour concludes.
