About This Trek
The Charakusa Valley lies inside Central Karakoram National Park and is one of Pakistan's finest uncrowded trekking routes for experienced mountain travellers. Starting from Hushe village, the trail climbs through glacial terrain past the base camps of K6 (7,282m) and K7 (6,934m).
This is a genuinely challenging trek requiring good fitness, prior high-altitude experience and comfort with glacier travel. The reward is a valley of dramatic granite and ice scenery seen by very few visitors each year.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival in Skardu followed by a jeep transfer to Hushe village, where porters and final trek logistics are arranged.

The trail leaves Hushe and climbs steadily toward Kande, the entry point to the Charakusa Valley.

We enter the Charakusa Valley proper, walking alongside the glacier with early views of K6 and K7 appearing ahead.

A dedicated day to explore closer to the K6 and K7 base camps, with time for photography and acclimatisation.

We begin the return journey, retracing the route back toward Kande.
